The ‘DVSA Safety Inspection Manager’ is a separate system from our TRUCKBase software. It is a time saving way of easily recording your DVSA Safety Inspections - straight into our easy to use software avoiding the need to store paper copies of the inspection, however you can still print off reports and store as you wish. Our DVSA Safety Inspection software complies with the DVSA requirements for operators using a software solution for their safety inspections regime
100%
Compliant with DVSA standards
100%
Clear concise and always legible safety reports for both you and your customers
Recording the faults that are found, rectifications you make, is just a matter of selecting from a drop down list..... it’s that easy. When you need to retrieve a safety report it’s only a few mouse clicks for any report no matter how long ago, all done in seconds- with the added advantage that everybody will be able to read the report!
Our system is a desktop application which means your data is stored on your PC - however we do have a 'Cloud' version available, which is available to be hosted online.
The DVSA Safety Inspection manager can be used in the inspection area and input the inspection results straight into a PC using a touch screen monitor, this is a great way, meaning you can do away with the paper inspection reports completely should you wish to, or alternatively as many workshops do, still use a paper inspection report to gather information in the inspection area, but then easily transfer it to our system for official recording and record keeping.
The DVSA Safety Inspection manager will work on any PC using either Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 / 8 or 10. If you intend to use the Safety Inspection Manager Pro with the Remote App then your PC will need to have a greater spec so please see notes under 'What Operating System do I need?'
Create a second inspection sheet for recording additional items these can be based on a Federation inspection sheet. There are 60 additional items that you can rename to suit your needs in 3 separate categories - so if your customer as asked for additional items to be checked in addition to the normal requirements - then this is an easy solution.
Create Inspections reports with their own image header (either your own or from the operator you do the inspections for). Each operator can have their own image header.
Create PDF without first having to preview inspection
Record the email address of each operator and be able to send an email with a PDF attachment of the Inspection Sheet from within the Safety Inspection Manager ( you need MS Outlook for this).
Yes you can, usually over a Local Area Network (LAN). This is typically a network within a single business premise connected by cable or wireless. You will need to obtain an additional PC licence for each PC
DVSA Safety Inspections can also be used as a WAN - this will allow different locations to access the same data. You will need at least Windows Server 2008 R2 or newer and a static IP address. Your users would then typically login using a RDP file. Users can be located anywhere in the world and need only Windows 7 or higher and an internet connection.
We offer Techincal support via our BUSINESS Guard service . This provides you with the peace of mind that your data is being looked after and you are upto today with any upgrades.
Once a Safety Inspection has had Part 4 signed off - You cannot make any changes to the Inspection Record. This complies completely with the DVSA requirements, that records are not able to be edited after Part 4 has been signed off. Up to Part 4 being signed off you can make and change any aspect of the Safety Inspection.
A Forever licence means that you can continue to use the software 'forever' without any further payments or annual payments. You can move your licence from one PC to another by using the supplied 'Transfer' utility - this will move the licence from your old PC to the new PC. This does not apply to hosted Cloud solutions provided by us. You can find out more from this page
